Table Tennis

Table Tennis, also known as Ping-Pong, is a fast-paced indoor sport played on a small table, where two or four players use small paddles to hit a lightweight ball back and forth. The ball must bounce once on each side of the table before being returned, and while it may seem simple, the game requires lightning-fast reflexes and precise control.

At Armed Forces Medical College, both the male and female dormitories have dedicated areas for table tennis, fully equipped with tables, paddles, and balls. Additionally, a table is set up in the tea-break area of the Academic Building, providing cadets with the perfect opportunity to take a quick break between demanding classes.

Table tennis is not only a fun and engaging sport, but it also offers a variety of benefits for medical cadets. It sharpens concentration, improves hand-eye coordination, and provides excellent exercise. The game's fast nature makes it a great way to recharge mentally and physically during short breaks between study sessions, offering cadets a refreshing way to stay active while balancing their academic workload.
