Football

Football: world's most popular sport in the field of Armed Forces Medical College. Played between two teams of 11 players each, the objective is simple: to score by kicking the ball into the opponent's goal, while using only the feet (except the goalkeeper). The team that scores the most goals within 90 minutes of play wins the match.

Every game played on our field is filled with exhilarating excitement, fast-paced runs, precise passing, and seamless teamwork. Football not only keeps the medical cadets physically fit but also helps improve stamina, quick decision-making, and mental agility. It provides a much-needed break from the demands of the rigorous study schedules, offering a chance to relieve stress and recharge and helps build lifelong friendships on the field.

During our annual sports event, Sports Week, the football matches take center stage. These games feature teams composed of experienced players, and often include friendly matches in which our instructors and lecturers participate. Their involvement adds an extra layer of excitement and gives the games a ceremonial atmosphere, making the event one to remember.
