Volleyball is an exciting and high-energy team sport, played between two teams of six players each. The objective is to hit the ball over a high net, ensuring that it doesn’t touch the ground on player's side of the court. Each team is allowed only three touches before they must send the ball back to the opposing side. This fast-paced game requires sharp reflexes, strategic play, and seamless teamwork.
At Armed Forces Medical College, the volleyball court is meticulously set up on the large, spacious field, providing an ideal setting for thrilling matches during college tournaments. Volleyball is a fantastic way for cadets to improve their jumping power, hand-eye coordination, and overall team spirit. For our busy medical students, it offers a much-needed break from academics. It keeps them physically active, strengthens the knees, and helps refresh the mind, all while providing an opportunity to bond with friends and enjoy some fun and healthy competition.
Whether it's a friendly match or part of a tournament, volleyball offers both physical and mental benefits, making it a perfect sport to maintain balance in the life of a medical cadet.
